Race Report

With the light fading fast, Round 2 was reduced to 15 laps. Stuart made a less good start but managed to climb to 9th by the end of lap 1. At the front, Antonio Pizzinia passed Jon Bender to take the lead but could not pull away. He came under constant pressure from Bender and then Rob Austin, who passed Pizzonia and held the lead to the flag but was demoted to seventh for a jumped start.

Stuart meanwhile had worked his through the field to finish seventh and was duly promoted to sixth after Austin's 10 second penalty was applied.
