In 1997, we contested the BARC Formula Renault Championship using a Van Diemen RF96 Formula Renault Sport chassis.

It would have been nice to win (our best finish was second at Snetterton) but two lap records and fourth in the championship are an excellent result from our first season in this very competitive series.
